Quest Adventure Gaming is growing! We’re seeking out creative, ambitious individuals to help produce a number of upcoming live-action events including Outbound Hope Mission: Season II, A Matter of Honor, Starfall Academy, The Great Meadow Rebellion, and more!

We are looking for experienced independent contractors to join us for upcoming games currently slated for events in late 2021 and throughout 2022.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

STORY TEAM LEADER:

Story Team Leaders – also known as GM’s (Game Masters) – will assist the QAG team in developing rich, memorable storylines and personal plots for client players. Prior to an event, Team Leaders will virtually coordinate with other staff – especially the Story Director – to create actionable narrative that promotes progression for both individual characters and the event as a whole. Understanding of the event’s world build and player preferences are essential and will be key to story-building. Story Team Leaders must ensure that any costuming, prop, or set requirements are forwarded along to the appropriate individuals prior to the event. During an event, Team Leaders must be on-site and will work with other staff and NPC actors to stimulate in-game plot as needed. In some Quest events, Team Leaders will also act as the most direct GM contact for their player group, forwarding any concerns along to the appropriate parties.

PROP DESIGNER:

Prop Designers will work with the Event Director and Story Director to design, purchase, create, and modify player and NPC props. When appropriate, they may be asked to coordinate with the costuming director to create necessary items such as armor and accessories. During an event, Prop Designers will work to sort and distribute appropriate props to both players and NPCs for the duration of the event. Additionally, they will help to ensure the functionally and maintenance of props when necessary. Following an event, they will work to recover, sort, and repair (as needed) all game-owned items.

CREATURE CREATOR:

Creature Creators will work with the Event Director and Story Director to design and build puppets and costumes that bring to life fantasy and science fiction creatures for various QAG events. During an event, Creature Designers will work with NPCs and other staff members to properly orchestrate the successful performance of creature designs, assisting with fittings, movements, etc. as needed. Following an event, they will work to recover, repair, and store all designs.

Please note that each of the above listings are contract positions – not full or part-time employment positions at this time. Contractors will be brought on to the team for individual events and will be responsible for submitting all necessary paperwork (such as 1099 forms).

Interested? Please contact info@questadventuregaming.com with any questions or submit a .pdf copy of an updated resume to jointheteam@questadventuregaming.com to express your interest in any of the above positions. We can’t wait to have you as part of the team!
